Employee Engagement

We understand the value of strengthening our employees’ connection to their communities and the natural environment. We offer many different opportunities for employees to step outside their daily routines, connect with nature and expand their understanding of the impact of our actions as a business and as individuals.

From on-site educational programs like our Sustainability Learning Series, to our myriad of volunteer opportunities, to our site Green Teams and online engagement platform, employees are encouraged to engage in a way that aligns with their passions and expertise.

MORE THAN 13,000 EMPLOYEES, SPOUSES, AND RETIREES HAVE PARTICIPATED IN A+ HEALTH SINCE 2005.
MORE THAN 12,000 EMPLOYEES, SPOUSES, AND RETIREES HAVE PARTICIPATED IN A+ HEALTH SINCE 2005. WE’VE SEEN OUR OVERALL HEALTH RISKS DECREASE BY NEARLY 20 PERCENT, WHICH TRANSLATES TO AN ESTIMATED ANNUAL SAVINGS OF $2.4M IN HEALTH CARE AND INDIRECT COSTS.

These figures are based on results from our last health assessment for repeat health assessment participants.

Since we hosted our first work-site health screenings and health assessment questionnaire in 2005, the A+ Health program has grown as our company has grown. We’ve introduced new programs and resources, expanded the program to more employees and, most recently, launched A+ Health Rewards, an incentive program to encourage participation and help employees lower their out-of-pocket health care expenses.
