A long legacy of Innovation

Andersen has a longstanding commitment to innovation – to being “different and better” – Andersen has made an indelible mark on the industry, the business and the communities in which we live and work. Beautiful and enduring products are just part of our story.

A Legacy of Innovation

For 115 years, our customers have looked to Andersen as the industry leader providing unique window and door solutions. We have proven our leadership with more than 100 patents that offer true differentiation for our customers – whether they are homeowners, builders, dealers or architects. Smart-home technology, sustainability, installation ease and energy efficiency are key focal points of our innovation efforts.

We uphold our legacy of innovation and embrace change in all areas of our business as a mean of attaining and sustaining leadership.

The Andersen legacy of innovative craftsmanship continues into the 21st century with more industry firsts. From virtually invisible TruScene® insect screens, to the innovative and architecturally inspired A-Series product line, to revolutionary 100 Series products, to first-of-its kind technology with the VeriLock™ system, to Andersen’s proprietary Fibrex® material, the legacy of innovation continues.

But innovation does not just happen all by itself – it occurs because of the many talented, passionate and committed people who have been part of the Andersen “family” for over a century.

Innovation in the Community

Through numerous non-profit and for-profit ventures, Andersen has been one of Yellowstone National Park’s strategic partners in their commitment to make Yellowstone the “greenest” park in the world. In 2015, our donation of energy-efficient, durable Andersen® 100 Series windows for a new employee dormitory in Yellowstone’s Old Faithful area enabled the Park Service to achieve a LEED Platinum rating for the first time in a national park building.
