BAYPORT, Minn. (September 4, 2013) – Andersen Corporation today announced the promotion of Jim Weglewski to vice president, Corporate Quality, Sustainability and Facilities. In this newly created role, Weglewski will be responsible for merging the enterprise facilities organization into the Quality and Sustainability team.
“Jim has demonstrated his leadership and passion to make a difference in the critical areas of Quality and Sustainability, said Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Administration Mary Carter. “As Andersen continues to advance our sustainability focus, we know that facilities and surrounding grounds play an important element in our sustainability footprint.”
Weglewski’s career includes more than 20 years of manufacturing, process engineering and product development experience and leadership. Prior to joining Andersen, he spent 12 years with 3M in several key roles, including time as a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Product Development team leader. He joined Andersen in 2003 as a Process Engineering manager and progressed to key roles within the Renewal by Andersen and Architectural Products Divisions.
Weglewski earned his degree at the University of Minnesota – Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
