Habitat for Humanity
Andersen and Habitat have partnered for more than 20 years to build quality affordable homes for families across the country, and around the world. Many locations throughout the Andersen enterprise participate in Habitat builds in their local communities.
Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity
Andersen is partnering with Twin Cities Habitat to build Generation Acres, a 33-unit townhome development. Andersen has committed to providing a generous window and door donation for the project, which is located about 20 miles northwest of the company’s Bayport headquarters. In addition, the Andersen Corporate Foundation approved a grant of $300,000 over three years to support construction of Generation Acres.

Houston Habitat for Humanity
In 2017, Andersen Corporation donated $100,000 of windows and doors to Houston Habitat for Humanity to help with rebuilding efforts for the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative (NRI)
Andersen was pleased to partner with Habitat for Humanity International, providing a $100,000 grant through the company’s foundation, to plan and implement development efforts in four communities where our employees live and work. Locations included North Brunswick, NJ; Marion, OH; Aurora, OH; and Lithia Springs, GA.

Andersen employees give back to their local community through the United Way. The Company matches fifty cents on every dollar an employee donates. In the last decade, Andersen Corporation and employees have contributed more than $10 million to United Way.
American Red Cross
Giving blood through Red Cross blood drives has been a long-time Andersen tradition dating back to 1951. The Company holds blood drives annually, collecting more than 350 units, impacting the lives of over 1,000 patients. In 2017, and the Andersen Corporate Foundation $50,000 donation and pledging to match up to $25,000 in employee donations for the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
Andersen is committed to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education and youth development. Each year, Andersen employees volunteer to teach in local classrooms through Junior Achievement. Learn more at jaum.org.
